I am using this with Download accelerator plus and every file gets to 19% completion and cuts of the connection. Its always 19% and have tried it on about 20 different files. Even the connection speed to it is really poor and dl's about 150kb/sec and I'm a premium member. RS I can get to download at 600kb/sec

Anyone got any ideas why it stops at 19% completion?Click here to enlargeClick here to enlarge

I have a premium membership with the 'gator and it's wicked fast... as fast as, if not faster than RS.

    Also a Rapidgator premium user.

Last several days Rapidgator has been unreliable.

Constantly drops my premium connection in JDownloader.

    JDownloader says plug-in outdated.

When connected, downloads have been super slow, even when
I have tried to download direct from the website.

Because it's always at around 19%, seems the connection is being lost/reset at that point.

I read of similar problems with JDownloader & Rapidgator.

People would start downloading as a premium user,
but then that status would change to non-premium, cutting off the download.

some thought it was a Downloader problem, some thought a Firewall/AV issue,
and some thought it was recent changes at RG causing it.

I would try downloading some files through your browser first to
rule out whether it's your downloader causing the problem.
    [or try another downloader]

I still get the problem where every once in a while JDownloader thinks that my RG membership is expired and I have to re-enable it and refresh it.

As for the download problem, in Jdownloader, I found if you set it to only do 1 download at a time(you can leave multiple connections at more then 1) Rapidgator transfers are way more reliable. Prior to that I had problems with RG transfers failing all the time.

    This site will help you:

How to Download From Rapidgator.net via Internet Download Manager 6.11 IDM

    Source:
This Content Is Available To Members Only. Please Register Here

Rapidgator.net is a Rapid File Hosting website, rapidgator.net allow you to open your account totally Free, it has an extra fast downloads option with unlimited file storage service. Rapidgator.net have the only way to download using browsers there is no direct downloads option available, what you have to do always open each link in your browser even if you are a premium user. May be sooner or later rapidgator.net starts direct download option but currently nothing like that in our vision.

Steps to configure Internet Download Manager For Rapidgator.net.
1.Internet Download manager had a bug in processing cookies in its previous versions prior to 6.09, so keep in your mind if you have an old version it may not work with sharing sites, better you install the latest version Internet Download Manager 6.11 before going to configure rapidgator.net.

    2. If you are a Premium Rapidgator.net user, follow the steps given below.

2.1. Open Internet Explorer any other browser whatever you use will not work for the same after opening IE log in on the site as a premium user. And check “Remember me” checkbox and press “Login”. This action on the site will set cookies in Internet Explorer for you which make you able to use Internet Download Manager when you add downloads to IDM. Now close the browser but don’t press “Logout” because doing this will change cookies.

If this does not work, then maybe your browser is not saving cookies. To enable saving cookies go to the options of Internet Explorer in “General” tab find Browsing History section under this press “Setting” in Temporary internet files section select “Automatically” and give the sufficient disk space.

You may also check whether cookies are set correctly or not by logging in to the rapidgator.net in your browser, if you are not automatically logged in it means your cookies are not set correctly.

2.2. Now open the link which is required to download a file in another window of your browser and press “CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD”

    3. If you are free user on Rapidgator.net and have a free account, you may not be able to resume required downloads. It means that you cannot use a queue.

At first you need to enable “Start downloading immediately while displaying “Download File Info” dialog” option in “Options then Downloads” dialog.

3.1 Open your browser and paste link press enter then select “SLOW SPEED DOWNLOAD”:

3.2 Now you will see CAPTCHA on your screen enter it.

Internet Download Manager may not be configured correctly if you are using internet via proxy, or using FireFox browser. If you are using proxy you need to keep the same in your browser and Internet Download Manager in other case both ends IPs will be different and site will fail the download. A temporary link can be downloaded only from a single IP address. If you are using your browser via any Firewall or Antivirus you will have to use your Internet Download Manager using the same otherwise it won’t work.

I am having problems downloading using Rapidgator (FREE download).
My download starts OK but after about 3 mins or 1-2 MBs of downloading(less than 1%) the download stops and Windows downloader reads OPEN.
This happens all of the time. I am downloading using Internet Explorer 9.
I suspect its something to do with the cookies setup.
    Can anyone please help me

Use Jdownloader or Mipony as your download manager and probably should kick internet explorer to the curb also, only use it for site's you really need it on like msn.

As above except definitely lose IE9. Mozilla Firefox is better and has a plugin that imitates Internet Explorer.

I posted this on another thread about rapid gator. I'm aslo having problems, although not the same as listed above.

Posted on "Is Rapid Gator Safe?" thread - [I'm feeling a little odd about Rapid gator right now. If you use it free, without an account, it appears to be rampant with malware pop-ups. I keep getting a pop-up window that only gives you one option... to click OKAY. It doesn't give you the option of canceling, saying no and even prevents you from closing your browser unless you choose force quit or click the pop-ups okay window. And you definitely don't want to click OKAY. As that leads to a host of bad things. If you click okay, your basically saying OKAY to allowing something nefarious and bad access to your computer. Me no likey.]

    NL is much worse.

RG does have interruption problems, esp. lately but other times its a fast download. RS is consistent but slow. NL is 99% useless.

we have to remember there is no megaupload. none are perfect.

I really don't understand why so many people up to Rapidgator. It really is utterly useless for free users and most people will have Rapidshare accounts.

Can't buy accounts at every host.

I am still using IDM 6.05 with my Rapidgator premium and have had no problems at all.
So far, today - 13 hours, have downloaded slightly in excess of 23 Gb.

Rapidgator is the worst I have used. Even using zorba_anton's tips I get cut-offs and/or horribly slow speeds. Kick it to the kerb.

Gee it would be great if those members having problems (of any kind) had their locations in their profile. No need for your street address, we don't want to visit - but it would be great to know if the problem was ISP related.

Please PM me if my links are down

I'm in the UK and over the last week or so I have been having problems with RG I am getting less and less downloads, I tried to dl the last part of a file this morning and got the message "you have exceeded your daily download limit" the last file part I had downloaded was only 100mb and I waited two hours or so before trying for the last part which was only 1mb, I've not tried it on a different browser though. Over the last month or so the speed has dropped dramatically, possibly down to increased usage as other filehosts go down.

I just bought rapidgator and am having major issues... I don't know if it is Jdownloader or rapidgator itself. Every time I have to re-enable my premium account, then it drops my download several times saying "aborted" or "no permissions to write to disc". Really strange stuff. I never have this issue with netload or rapidshare. I switched from netload as they no longer offer paypal or credit card payment options.
