I have tried to learn how to crochet with zero luck. Do any of you have that issue, or does anyone have the ability to teach how to crochet.

i thought it would be easy to pick up in an afternoon, so I asked my mother-in-law to teach me. I wanted to give up in 5 minutes.

Let's just say it was not the bonding experience I had hoped for. ;-)

My girlfriend has been crocheting just over a year and learnt from Bella Coco's YouTube channel.
Her videos are clear and easy to follow and cover the basics to advanced.

I taught myself how to crochet a couple of years ago. I learned following the tutorials from the blog at Knit and Crochet Ever After. Her you tube channel is called the same as her blog. She provided the best instructions and angles in her videos so I could see what she was doing.. As soon and you have mastered the three main stitches you are pretty much good to go.. You just need to figure out how to turn your work so you can make rows upon rows of the same thing...
Eventually I got more confident and have done several stuff for my family.
Good Luck in learning. It is a great craft to do while watching TV.
